BEMA (Berlin Advice Centre for Migration and Decent Work) supports migrants, refugees and mobile workers in Berlin with free and confidential advice on employment and labour rights.
The team can help with questions about employment contracts, unpaid wages, dismissal, holidays, workplace accidents, maternity and parental leave, temporary or seasonal work, minijobs, bogus self-employment and undeclared work.
BEMA also provides specialised counselling for people affected by labour exploitation, forced labour and human trafficking. Advice is available in multiple languages and is independent of a person's country of origin or residence status.
Consultations are by appointment.
