We are an independent, amateur theater group in Berlin providing a "sanctuary for the soul" for the ex-YU diaspora. We bring together talent from the former Yugoslavia, united by contemporary theater, shared nostalgia, and our native languages (BCMS).
Our debut comedy Staljinke was a massive triumph, selling out four runs! We are also preparing our next classic comedy, Pokondirena Tikva, and love touring other cities like Dresden.
Who we are for:
The Audience: Anyone craving a deep connection to their roots, a great laugh, and a warm community.
Creatives: No prior acting experience is needed! We do not look at resumes; we only ask for your spirit, presence, and dedication to building theater from the ground up.
Our Core Values:
Unity: A welcoming space built on shared cultural bonds.
Dedication: Transforming raw enthusiasm into high-quality art through the rehearsal process.
Inclusivity: An open platform for local artists to express themselves via acting, literature, and art.
